Visit the Chicago Botanic Garden! Enjoy an exhibition of original artwork featuring threatened and endangered plants. The exhibition, Losing Paradise? Endangered Plants Here and Around the World, extends though April 4 and includes works by some of the world's best-known botanical artists. Spring is in the air at the Chicago Flower and Garden Show, March 6 – 14 at Navy Pier, where Garden experts offer free seminars, potting parties, and more. Take our quick Joseph Regenstein, Jr. School survey and tell us what you think! Our thanks is $10 off your next class. Family Gardeners will love the class: Let's Grow Together! Parents and kids will design and plant a raised garden on Saturdays, beginning March 27 from 9 – 11 a.m. Registration is now open for Camp CBG, the popular summer camp for children ages 2 to 15. Camp CBG is fun and engaging, from introducing growing plants to toddlers to young teens applying the concepts of chemistry to ecology. |
